Typing skills required

One of our brilliant students pointed out that with one computer and awful typing skills we are too slow to get our work published. I suggest we use a typing tutor programme to get our skills up to speed. Does anyone know of a free one online? If so, please comment here with a link to the site.

Well done OtherBoy and Bubbles. Thank you for your diligence.

Excellent that you are considering such factors in your accordion novel, QueenBead. Superb! Just do your best.

Hello Woodmonstas...
I recommend that you all have a go at the Dancemat typing programme available at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/ I see Bubbles recommends this too... You will find it a lot of fun... but remember try not to cheat and look down at your hands. In the upcoming school hols you could do this at home and in no time you will be a dancing along the keyboard, producing your wonderful work a lot faster.
cheers

My dad last year downloaded a typing tutor but I can't remember what it was called. You can just search typing tutor on google and it will appear. I do know that it helped me a lot in just 3 weeks.

Well mr.woody, one other way you could do this is to get them to go onto a online chat game (like runescape, cause it rules)that way they have fun and since they would always type they will do it faster (typing)because they would always want to reply back. if u are going to use runescape u could make a clan for ur class and chat like u do on the blog and meet intrsting people on there as well and learn things of them, isn't that the way u like things mr.woody?

I suppose you should just search free typing test on the internet? It would surely come up with some relevant things!
