I would like to study Greek mythology because it is something that fascinates me. Greece was one of the first civilisations to introduce democracy, and created the foundation of modern society. I would also like to further extend my knowledge of computer programming, I already know GML which is similiar to C++, one of the most commonly used computer languages in applications.

I love history we used to study it at my old school, I think learning about ancient civilisations is really cool as it allows us to compare our own modern society with the likes of the Egyptians and the Greeks. It also allows us to see how we have moulded all their ideas and have formed one super society. I would also like to learn more ICT skills, Info on religions, the cultures in different countries and about the human body.

I agree Mech Boy something just doesn't sound right. Especially the Stalin part.

Nei, for mine I'm thinking of doing Da Vinci because it fascinated me as to how he came up with ideas that would only be produced in a later time. He was way ahead of the age in which he lived.

Astronomy has interested me ever since I went to Lake Tekapo to the Mount John Observatory. It was amazing looking at the Milky Way (it looks all puffy), and different stars in different stages of there lives.

MrWoody said...

Actually Roo n Mech, he's onto something... check it out - Stalin killed more of his own people than Hitler did with concentration camps... or am i wrong? prove it...
:-)

bTw - very cool to hear from you both and my kids can learn from your eloquent comments and obvious love for learning. I have a few who could take you on though! ;-)

Element Master said...

No guys he is right about Josef Stalin and I know much more than any of you about war Stalin sent more men to there death than what he killed in enemy soldiers but they had to endure harsh winters and German tanks and Snipers so he is well on track there! 20million Reds died in world war 2 so sad. Not a laughing matter that's 5 times our population!....

Stalin killed 100 thousand in the two years before World War II and during World War II he killed approximately 14.7 million Russians. This makes Stalin one of the largest killers of all time. The reason that he got away with his crimes was because he was with the Allies and he still had a large army.
